The Center for Biomolecular Therapeutics (CBT) at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is seeking highly motivated postdoctoral fellows. A goal of this new center is to help translate structure-function studies of important drug targets to the development of biomolecular therapeutics that benefit human health. Towards this end, the CBT has expertise in protein production and biophysics, structural biology (NMR/X-ray), computer-aided drug design, target validation and screening, genomics and bioinformatics, medicinal chemistry, and with in vivo biology and drug testing. We are currently seeking individuals to work on CBT project(s) involving structure-based drug design. The position requires a Ph.D. in biochemistry, molecular biology, or a closely related discipline. Candidates who have practical experience in molecular biology, protein chemistry and/or structural biology will be considered as a priority.
