Dear CCP4BB community,
Does anyone know of proteins (or protein domains) that are better folded in the presence of a membrane or a membrane mimetic (higher secondary structure content, stability, etc.)? I am interested in peripheral membrane proteins or extra/intracellular domains of membrane-anchored proteins, particularly, cases where the structural basis for the membrane requirement is understood.
