There is an immediate opening for a Post Doctoral Research Associate in the group of Dr. Lan Guan, Department of Cell Physiology and Molecular Biophysics at Texas Tech University Health Science Center, Lubbock, TX, focuses on the structure determination of a sugar transport protein by 3-D X-ray crystallography. This position requires a strong background in membrane protein purification, crystallization, and crystal structure determination. Experience in molecular biology or membrane protein biochemistry will be an advantage. Highly motivated candidates with two-year successful postdoc experience in protein crystallography are encouraged to apply.
