Postdoctoral Fellowship in Protein Crystallography

Date: 9 March 2012 18:27

A Postdoctoral Fellow position is available immediately in the laboratory of Professor Seth Rubin at the University of California, Santa Cruz.  Our research focuses on the structural biology and biochemistry of cell cycle regulation and cancer.  Immediate future plans include structural studies of a large, multisubunit complex with function in chromatin regulation. A Ph.D. in biochemistry or molecular biology with experience in expression, purification, and crystallization of protein complexes is preferred.  This position is an excellent opportunity to develop one's molecular biology perspective while working in an energetic, interdisciplinary environment on Monterey Bay in California.
