Faculty position in X-ray crystallography at NC State University

"The Department of Molecular and Structural Biochemistry at North Carolina State University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in X-ray crystallography, with preference given to candidates at the level of Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will have a doctoral degree in a relevant field, be expected to teach courses in biochemistry at the undergraduate and graduate levels and to develop a nationally recognized, externally funded research program using X-ray crystallography and molecular biochemistry. Excellent opportunities exist throughout NCSU and the research triangle for collaborations with faculty in Life, Physical, Plant, Genomic, and Biomedical Sciences. NCSU provides access to synchrotron radiation through its membership in SER-CAT at Argonne National Laboratory. The department and NCSU maintain core facilities in crystallography, MS, NMR, EM, molecular and cellular imaging, and has access to the neutron sources at ORNL.
